Our Story

Founded in 2010, Skin R.N. is a female-owned medical spa dedicated to helping our patients look and feel their best through personalized, results-driven aesthetic care. What began with a passion for providing high-quality services to our community has grown into a trusted destination for advanced medical aesthetics in Southeast Wisconsin. 

Over the years, our team and treatment offerings have continued to grow, but our commitment remains the same: exceptional care, advanced treatments, natural-looking results, and an experience centered around each patients's individual goals. 

Chris Bloom, R.N., B.S.N., is the founder of Skin R.N. and a Master Nurse Injector with decades of healthcare experience. Dedicated to aesthetics since 2000, Chris combines advanced training, and clinical expertise, with a passion for delivering personalized, natural-looking results. She proudly treats patients at both our Kenosha and Janesville locations and continues to lead Skin R.N. with a commitment to exceptional patient care and advanced medical aesthetics. 

Alexis Ortiz, R.N., is an Aesthetic Nurse Injector with a passion for natural, patient-centered care. After graduating from nursing school in 2024, she gained experience in Med-Surg and currently practices in the Emergency Department. Alexis began her aesthetics journey training under Chris Bloom, R.N., where she continues to expand her knowledge and skills. She proudly treats patients at both our Kenosha and Janesville locations and is committed to creating an experience where every patient feels heard, educated, comfortable, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey.
