Founded in 2010, Skin R.N. is a female-owned medical spa dedicated to providing our patients with exceptional aesthetic care that helps them look and feel their best. What started as a passion for delivering high-quality skin rejuvenation services to our community has evolved into a trusted destination for advanced medical aesthetics in Southeast Wisconsin. 

Throughout the years, our team and treatment offerings have expanded, but our commitment to personalized, results-driven care remains unchanged. We continue to focus on advanced treatments and natural-looking results, ensuring an experience tailored to each patient's individual goals.

Chris Bloom, R.N., B.S.N., is the founder of Skin R.N., a premier medical spa specializing in aesthetic care. With over 30 years of healthcare experience and more than 25 years dedicated to medical aesthetics, she has established herself as a Master Nurse Injector. Chris earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and has built her career around providing exceptional, personalized patient care. Her extensive advanced education and training in aesthetic medicine includes expertise in BOTOX®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, laser and light-based treatments, Ultherapy, skin rejuvenation, and medical-grade skincare. Chris's nursing background also encompasses experience in surgical services, obstetrics, and emergency medicine, providing her with a robust clinical foundation in patient care and safety. Since entering the aesthetic field in 2000, she has consistently sought advanced training and education in the latest techniques and technologies. Chris is passionate about creating natural-looking, individualized results that enhance each patient’s unique features, helping them feel confident in their appearance. As the founder of Skin R.N., Chris continues to lead her team with a steadfast commitment to experience, education, safety, and excellence in medical aesthetics. She proudly treats patients at both our Kenosha and Janesville locations.

Alexis Ortiz, R.N., is an Aesthetic Nurse Injector with a strong nursing foundation and a passion for helping patients feel confident through aesthetic care that maintains natural-looking results. After graduating from nursing school in 2024, Alexis began her nursing career in Med-Surg before transitioning to the Emergency Department, where she continues to practice as a Registered Nurse. She initiated her journey in aesthetics training under Chris Bloom, R.N., B.S.N., Master Nurse Injector, gaining hands-on experience and continuing education in aesthetic medicine. Her clinical nursing background, combined with her aesthetic training, enables her to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care at our medical spa, emphasizing safety, education, and individualized results. Alexis specializes in BOTOX®, Dysport®, dermal fillers, and medical-grade skincare, focusing on skin rejuvenation. Her approach enhances each patient’s natural features, creates balance, and develops personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals. Alexis believes that the best aesthetic results should still look like you. She proudly treats patients at both our Kenosha and Janesville locations and is committed to making every patient feel heard, educated, comfortable, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey.

With 20 years of experience in skincare and aesthetics, and 14 years as part of the Skin R.N. team, Brandy brings extensive knowledge and a personalized approach to aesthetic care, helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin. She holds a bachelor's degree from Millikin University and began her career in pharmaceutical sales, specializing in dermatology and women's health, before becoming a licensed aesthetician and laser technician. Brandy has advanced training in laser and light-based treatments, Scarlet SRF, SkinPen micro-needling, Clear+Brilliant, Ultherapy, chemical peels, medical-grade skincare, and other advanced aesthetic technologies. She has a special interest in helping women navigate skin changes associated with perimenopause and menopause, including collagen loss, laxity, pigmentation, texture, and overall skin quality. Known affectionately as the 'Ace of Face,' Brandy believes in combining advanced treatments with patient education to create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans. She sees patients at both our Kenosha and Janesville medical spa locations, focusing on effective skin rejuvenation solutions.

With 20 years of experience in skincare and aesthetics, including 8 years as part of the Skin R.N. team, Tricia brings extensive knowledge and advanced training to aesthetic care. She graduated from The Institute of Beauty and Wellness and enhanced her education in advanced laser services at the Mequon Thiensville School of Esthetics. Throughout her career, Tricia has pursued advanced training and certifications in laser treatments, SkinPen microneedling, medical chemical peels, CoolSculpting, EMSCULPT, and medical-grade skincare, all focused on enhancing skin rejuvenation. Her years of hands-on experience enable her to create personalized treatment plans that target each patient's unique skin and aesthetic goals. In 2025, Tricia expanded her expertise by graduating from nursing school to become a Registered Nurse, adding a higher level of clinical knowledge to her work in the medical spa environment. This combination of nursing education and two decades of aesthetic experience allows her to approach patient care with both medical and skincare perspectives. She currently sees patients at our Kenosha location.
